STILL PRODUCTIVE

Feb. 28, 2012

I am going through the toll of staying wide awake last night. A lot of things were zooming in my brain preventing me to drowse on a good night sleep. It could have slept an hour after midnight.

Lack of sleep is not good for me. But with the nature of work that I have, it is inevitable. Especially lately that I indulge in some procrastination. However, the cause of a partial nocturnity had nothing to do with school work. It was about other things. Things I have comtemplated about for a couple of times. It is still between letting things go or fighting for them. Because of indecisiveness, issues still continue to bug me, to stress me, to hurt me.

Today may not be great but I am happy for I was productive for having had delivered my lessons as planned and for having submitted my long overdue examination. I feel down the humps but still very productive. Allowing my fingers find through the letters of the computer's keyboard can temporarily keep my mind off from things that make me lurk.

In 5 minutes, it will be dismissal again. I'll be off to another working my butt off, income augmenting other job-tutorials. Not that I complain, in fact it is a great source of HELP. A really big one. But then all these is for my happiness. All these is for my daughter.

All the day's hardwork is all worth it when what is waiting for you at your abode is your daughter. Just one smile and all exhaustion all gone.

CAN WE MAKE A REWIND?

When Christa was still months old, we could not wait for her to walk. But now, how I wish time would rewind so I can still relive and savor the times that I can still carry her in my arms. She still allow us to carry her but the most would be 5 minutes.

Here's a lesson learned: Never rush the growth of your child...Savor every moment you have with her. You can never go back and compensate for a missed opportunity to bond. Each time counts...

PECULIAR SCENE AND UN CELEBRATION

This was what I saw in the sky last night when I went out to see mama to the gate. This is not new but I have not seen a sort of like halo surrounding our natural satellite as pronounced . I admit my camera had not given any justice to the beautiful scene that it was when I looked at this last night.

H4-Emerald Egyptian Gentlemen

Today is UN day. I would like to congratulate the driving force of this celebration for making it a success despite the short preparation. The ladies are jewels to spectators' eyes while the gentlemen are looking good in their respective costumes.

H4- Sapphire Boys in their African Look

My friend Divine's boys took their assigned nationality seriously by being authentic Africans. They created an inviting ambiance in their spot. They displayed unity, creativity and high spirits.

DORA AND WINNIE THE POOH IN THEIR LEAST DENSE FORM

October 19, 2010

Weekend was spent by mall walkathon and house improvement canvassing. Saturday started with a visit paid by my in-laws. They had lunch at home to spend time with their wacky granddaughter, Christa.

Later in the afternoon, we prepared for a window shopping until midnight at Gaisano City. My daughter was really grumpy towards the end but there were instances of soberness especially when she saw things of her interests. One of which were balloons, a Dora balloon which she saw in one of the kids of a fellow shopper.

The next day, we threesome went to a relative's house just near our home. We returned a borrowed item and at the same time we came to visit Christa's cousins, Issa and Wax. Unfortunately, they were out yet we stayed for awhile. While having a rest before going home, Christa was given things to make her busy. She was given toys and other things. However, what really made her fell in love was the sight of Dora Balloon. She really cried for it when it was time to go home.

On the way home yesterday, I saw a man selling character balloons. Then I remembered Christa. I bought two: Dora and Winnie the Pooh. She was not able to contain her happiness when we gave her the balloons. She was really delighted to receive our take home gifts for her.

Sadly, the life span of both balloons was short. It was Dora who was extinguished first by being knocked off. Perhaps feeling guilty, Christa laid down next to her father in the sofa looking intently to the battered balloon and decided to sleep . Also, I found the deflated Winnie the Pooh on the floor when I went home yesterday.

US

I had a lengthy conversation with my husband last night. I've been meaning to have one with him a long time ago and for many reasons it was put off. Some things really work without having to plan or schedule them at all.

My husband has a good mind to converse with. He has been a man with principles ever since and there are things in him that you can not really falter. He is a neat freak and strict. Qualities that are actually good.

I was relieved that I was able to pour out my thoughts and that he truly listened. I in turn listened to what he had to say. After all problems arise when there is communication gap. I am happy the gap was reattached.

Thank you ji, for the heart to listen and I promise I'll do the same. I'll correct/fulfill what we had talked about last night and I'll do my very best to redirect my cluttered life. I love you and I am sorry for my shortcomings.

God bless our family.
